The brand is also committed to sustainability by incorporating upcycled ingredients into many of its formulas. By repurposing nutrient-rich materials that would otherwise contribute to food waste, Three Ships helps reduce environmental impact while giving valuable botanical ingredients a second life in skincare.

Focused on clean and conscious beauty, Three Ships formulates products without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or synthetic fragrances. Instead, they use naturally derived and innovative ingredients that are gentle enough for sensitive skin. While their products are not specifically designed for babies, the formulations are created with safety and skin compatibility in mind, allowing new moms and those with delicate skin to feel confident using them.

To create a pleasant sensory experience without irritating the skin, some formulas contain very small amounts of essential oils — always under 0.8% concentration. This allows the products to maintain their natural integrity while still offering a subtle, enjoyable scent.

Three Ships is proudly cruelty-free and certified by the Leaping Bunny Program, meaning the brand does not test on animals and remains committed to ethical beauty practices.

Sustainability:

Sustainability is a core part of Three Ships’ philosophy, alongside creating high-quality skincare formulas. The brand carefully designs its packaging with recyclability and waste reduction in mind, using materials such as cardboard outer cartons and recyclable glass bottles that can also be repurposed or reused at home. Three Ships continues to reduce its reliance on plastic and is working toward ensuring all plastic packaging is reusable, recyclable, or compostable by 2025 in alignment with the Canada Plastics Pact goals.

To further support responsible beauty practices, Three Ships is a member of Pact Collective, a nonprofit organization focused on recycling hard-to-process beauty packaging like pumps, caps, and serum droppers. Through this initiative, materials are sorted and redirected for reuse whenever possible, helping support a more circular economy within the beauty industry.
