Sea fennel: It is a perennial halophyte plant of the Apiaceae family growing on the shores at the extreme edge of the sea, it is harvested on the Breton coast. In addition to its richness in minerals, the sea fennel is characterized by the presence of mucilage, derivatives with quaternary ammonium function, vitamin C and an essential oil with antiseptic property. Its seeds are rich in oleic acid and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA): linoleic acid (omega 6) which are essential constituents for the skin’s “barrier” function for good hydration.

Laminaria digitata: The Laminaria digitata is a brown macro-algae harvested on the Brittany coasts. Its oily content is low but of a very high quality as it is mainly made of seaweeds’ lipids such as monounsaturated fatty acids: oleic acid, polyunsaturated fatty acids, fucosterols and vitamin A.
