"I purchased this product (along with the Exfoderm Forte) in the hopes that it would lighten hyperpigmentation on my face (in the form of T-zone melasma). What a mistake! To my horror, it actually caused my melasma to darken. I applied as directed and used it for a week before I decided to give up. People who suffer from melasma become skincare connoisseurs. Many of us spend a fortune on top of the line medical grade skincare to keep our melasma at bay. I've used BSE skincare for years now. Obagi NuDerm Clear Fx was a waste of time, and most importantly, alot of money for a product that set my melasma back. If you are Fitzpatrick IV or V run in the opposite direction of Obagi FX 3. I am extremely disappointed, and BSE's seemingly iron clad return/exchange policy prevents me from any form of remediation for this massive set back."
