LATEST ARRIVAL: DAVINES
Davines is an incredible haircare founded in Parma, Italy, in 1983 by the Bollati Family. The company was once a research laboratory that produced high-end hair care products for renowned cosmetic companies across the globe. After a decade of honing haircare research and expertise, the company launched Davines products and offered them exclusively to professional salons.
Fun fact: in 1996, the same group founded [ comfort zone ], another skincare line we carry and love here at BSE!
MORE THAN GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR
All Davines’ products feature formulations that prioritize the use of natural ingredients and are considered carbon-neutral (also known as Zero Impact Products). Hair health and beauty are inspirational concepts for each of their hair products, but sustainability is also always at the core.
These formulas are also made with renewable electric energy and packaged to minimize their environmental impact; a practice inspired by the belief that “Sustainable Beauty” is an inseparable unity between beauty and good values. They are now proudly B Corp certified and have an international presence in more than 90 countries.
Davines has its community of clients, suppliers, and consumers at heart––which is why they only work alongside partners with the same social and environmental criteria. The company focuses on promoting local projects and global initiatives, such as the Sustainable Development Goals––defined in the UN's 2030 agenda as a project aimed at the sustainable development of the planet.
Davines also gives 1% of its e-commerce sales to 1% For The Planet and compensates for its own CO2 emissions.
