Soak the comb in warm water with shampoo or dish soap, then scrub with a toothbrush to remove the remaining hair and residue. Rinse and air dry. You can comb wet hair, but it's more fragile and prone to breakage. Use a wide-tooth comb, start from the tips to the roots, and be gentle. Consider a detangling spray for easier combing and avoid using regular brushes on wet hair to reduce breakage.
