MASK IT UP!
Face masks are everyone’s best friend–and no, we aren’t referring to the surgical procedure ones nor the N95’s. We’re talking about skincare masks, the more-than-ideal treatments that can address a wide array of common skincare concerns. Joshua Zeichner, director of cosmetic and clinical research at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, explains how face masks are used intermittently and “designed to deliver high concentrations of active ingredients to your skin”, giving it a well-deserved boost whenever needed.
Not only do face masks feel like a smooth, indulgent luxury, but they come in many different forms to suit your needs. Clarifying, brightening, moisturizing, deep-cleansing, or overnight formulas...whatever T.L.C. your skin needs, there’s a mask for it out there!
Since we are more than blessed at BSE in the Face Mask & Treatment department, we decided to pull together a quick list of our current favorites, sorted by your most common skin care needs. Without further ado, read on below…
