The month of love with visions of red, chocolates and roses.  Did you celebrate Valentine’s Day?  For some it’s a romantic evening planned with wine by the fire, for others it’s a day to spoil their children or maybe it’s a night spent with BFFs and bubbly.  It might also be a day to simply treat yourself, focus on self-care, indulge in salted caramel, soak in a hot tub with epsom salts and why not throw some rose pedals in.

Whether you celebrated this day or weekend on your own or with others, why not continue all month.  Each day should be filled with love.  Waking up to sunshine, cuddling with your fur baby, listening to music that so resonates with you, pouring that first cup of java, walking your child to school, feeling accomplished with work, stretching, yoga, dancing like everyone is watching, booking a spa treatment and the list goes on.

Buy the flowers, eat the chocolate, spread the love.  Valentine’s Day is not just a date on the calendar, it is a reminder to love, starting with yourself.  We often get caught up with the day - the errands, the deadlines, the carpooling - but at the end of the day, count your blessings, dive under your cozy blanket with your elixir of choice and whisper I love you…

Keep Shining Bright,
