Our formulation combines different forms of next-generation retinoids…not only pure retinol. It is commonly agreed that regular use of a lower concentration of pure retinol delivers better results than a higher concentration over a short period of time, as anything higher than 0.5% simply tends to trigger too much irritation and/or skin reactivity to other active ingredients. Our formula with encapsulated retinol cannot be compared with a basic retinol formula as it incorporates different retinoid molecules that enhance the effects of the encapsulated retinol and the skin’s tolerance to it. The pure retinol level used in the formula is 0.4%.
